Nestled in the heart of Boulogne-Billancourt, Frères Zhou offers a genuine culinary journey into the rich depths of Chinese and Asian cuisine. This charming restaurant invites diners to savor a carefully curated menu where every dish bursts with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Whether you choose the tender, savory Beef with Broccoli or the delightfully crispy Nems Aux Légumes, each bite speaks of culinary craftsmanship weighted with tradition and passion.
The aroma of their Singapore Noodles — a vibrant mélange of spices and textures — envelopes you from the moment your plate arrives. Fans of Cantonese classics will appreciate the perfectly seasoned Fried Rice of Cantonese Style and the delicate, steamed Shrimps Dumplings, which offer a sublime harmony of texture and taste. For those with a penchant for comforting warmth, the Potage Piquante À la Pékinoise and Potage Pékinois provide a delightful depth of flavor that soothes and excites the palate simultaneously.
Customers often praise the freshness and quality of the vegetables and the attentive service that elevates the dining experience beyond just the food. As Dr Heather Olson Marchand notes, the soups and dishes here are made with fresh, thoughtfully selected produce, setting Frères Zhou apart from many other Asian eateries in the area. Valeria W’s enthusiasm for the “placque chauffante” — a sizzling hot plate that delivers food piping hot with a burst of aroma — captures the vibrant dining atmosphere perfectly. The environment here balances coziness with a lively buzz, making it an ideal spot for intimate dinners or casual gatherings.
From the succulent Porc Au Caramel with its perfect balance of sweet and savory, to the subtly sweet Beignets À la Banane and decadent Nems Au Chocolat for dessert, Frères Zhou leaves a lasting impression on all who visit. The prices, as highlighted by Jean-Michel Quinzanelli, are notably reasonable given the quality and authenticity you receive — a full meal including a starter, main course, and a glass of wine for under €25 is a rare find in the Paris region.
Whether you’re craving the fiery kick of traditional Mapo Tofu or the delicate crunch in the Poulet Aux Amandes, Frères Zhou delivers a culinary experience that feels both familiar and excitingly authentic. The staff’s warmth and readiness to assist enhance the impression of genuine hospitality, making every visit feel like a special occasion. Oscar Mario URIBE’s endorsement of both the food and service is a testament to the exceptional care that defines this restaurant.
In sum, Frères Zhou is more than just a place to eat; it is a celebration of Asian flavors skilfully prepared and served in a welcoming setting. For locals and visitors alike seeking an authentic taste of China and Asia in Boulogne-Billancourt, this restaurant promises a flavorful adventure that lingers long after the meal is finished.
Good fresh vegetables and soups. The Singapore noodles are lovely. I also find the staff very kind and things are prepared fresh unlike a lot of Asian places in town.
